Bronze Age Defensive Wall Uncovered at Oued Beht, Morocco

Excavations at Oued Beht in northwestern Morocco revealed a multiphase ditch, rampart and wall system built 3,500 to 4,000 years ago, the earliest known large-scale defensive structure in North Africa outside Egypt.
