Stories are ranked based on source count, source tier, coverage breadth, and freshness, ensuring the most important and widely-reported stories rise to the top.

How It Works
- Data Collection: We aggregate archaeology news from Google News and other sources using carefully curated keyword lists.
- Quality Filtering: Articles are filtered for relevance using keyword matching and trusted source validation.
- Enrichment: Each article is enriched with metadata including geographic location, source tier, topics, and entities.
- Clustering: Similar articles are grouped into stories, with duplicate detection to avoid redundancy.
- Scoring & Ranking: Stories are scored based on coverage breadth, source quality, and freshness.
- Presentation: The curated content is presented through an intuitive interface with powerful filtering options.
