Rare Medieval Manuscript Fragments Reveal Guernsey's Lost Literary History

Seventeen medieval manuscript fragments dating from the 12th to 15th centuries have been identified in Guernsey's Island Archives, reused for centuries as covers for early modern administrative notebooks. The texts include Latin and French works such as an extract from a play and passages from Ovid.
