4,000-Year-Old Old Kingdom Tomb of Official Sekhentyu-Ptah Found at Saqqara

Egyptian archaeologists excavating the Bubasteion necropolis at Saqqara uncovered an Old Kingdom tomb of Sekhentyu-Ptah, a royal chamberlain and overseer of royal works. It included a preserved false door, inscribed alabaster ritual tools, and burial shafts with over 100 ushabti figurines.
