Painted coffins of the “Amun Singers” discovered in Luxor

A joint Egyptian mission in Luxor uncovered 22 painted coffins stacked in a rock-cut chamber, along with sealed vessels tied to mummification rites. The cache dates to the Third Intermediate Period and relates to temple singers of Amun.
