Tomb More Than 1000 Years Old Found in Panama

RNZ reports on an elite Coclé tomb at El Caño containing gold and ceramics, dated to about 800–1000 AD. Archaeologists describe the burial as belonging to a high-ranking individual within a long-used ceremonial complex.
