Tang Dynasty noblewoman buried with gold hair ornaments

An elaborately furnished Tang Dynasty tomb near Xi’an contained gold and silver adornments and an epitaph that tightly dates the burial. The find highlights elite material culture and trans-Eurasian connections in the late 7th century.
